Enrichment classes for students in grades K-6. Open to all members of the community.
This enrichment class will offer students in grades 3-6 a creative and engaging experience where they will explore the art of polymer clay sculpting to bring their favorite characters from TV shows, video games, and movies to life. Students will also have the opportunity to design their own original characters, developing unique backstories and personalities to accompany their creations. Through hands-on instruction, they will learn sculpting techniques, color mixing, and character design while cultivating their storytelling skills. The class will encourage imagination, foster problem-solving, and allow students to express their creativity in a fun and supportive environment. By the end of the course, each student will have a collection of characters they have crafted, each with its own rich narrative and artistic design.
