The Summer Enrichment program is for students who are currently enrolled in grades K-7 (entering Grades 1-8 in the fall of 2025). Students must be have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old by 8/31/25 in order to participate.

Sherwood students have a unique opportunity to access micro observatories through the “YouthAstroNet" program run out of Harvard University. No astronomy or photography experience is required however interested students should be curious and motivated to explore the universe, follow instructions and problem solve. Students will learn how to take raw images and manipulate them using web-based tools to create their own astrophotography works of art. Sessions will run on Wednesdays.
