Extended School Care is a non-profit organization that provides quality before and after school care for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Operated by the Shrewsbury Public Schools, the program is fully funded through parent fees.
Summer Academy is a free academic recovery program for qualifying students, including English Language Education. Students must be invited by Shrewsbury Public Schools in order to participate.
Week-long summer program for students who will be starting Kindergarten at Shrewsbury Public Schools.
These classes are offered to employees of Shrewsbury Public Schools and other town employees.
The Summer Enrichment program is for students who will be entering Grades 1-8 in the fall of 2024. Students must be have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old by 8/31/24 in order to participate.
Enrichment classes for students in grades K-6. Open to all members of the community.
Learn the skills to safely and responsibly care for young children & infants. Class content includs leadership skills, how to play with children, starting a baby-sitting business, & basic First Aid. Please note that there is an additional $17.00 cost included in this registration price for the Red Cross handbook. Only students in grades 6,7,8 are eligible to receive the Red Cross Certification. PLEASE NOTE: This class is offered more than once this summer and the content will be identical. Students should only register for one session.
Deborah Troio has been in the Special education program with the Shrewsbury schools for 23 years. She has a passion to help young people learn to care not just for themselves but for others. If she was not enlightening students, she would be tending to her garden and flowers
