Extended School Care is a non-profit organization that provides quality before and after school care for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Operated by the Shrewsbury Public Schools, the program is fully funded through parent fees.
Summer Academy is a free academic recovery program for qualifying students, including English Language Education. Students must be invited by Shrewsbury Public Schools in order to participate.
Week-long summer program for students who will be starting Kindergarten at Shrewsbury Public Schools.
These classes are offered to employees of Shrewsbury Public Schools and other town employees.
The Summer Enrichment program is for students who will be entering Grades 1-8 in the fall of 2024. Students must be have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old by 8/31/24 in order to participate.
Enrichment classes for students in grades K-6. Open to all members of the community.
The Summer Fun Program is great way to prepare your child for the start of kindergarten.Students will become familiar with their school building, and experience the routines of a typical day in a kindergarten class.They will leave feeling more confident, and ready for the first day of school!
All pre-school students who will be starting kindergarten at Shrewsbury Public Schools in the fall of 2023 are eligible to register. The program will run in each of the five elementary schools, so please register for the location where your child will be attending Kindergarten.
Cost: $100*
Dates: Monday August 7th – Thursday August 10th
Hours: 9:00AM-11:30AM
Locations: Maj. Howard Beal School, Calvin Coolidge School, Walter J. Paton School, Floral Street School, Spring Street School.
