Week-long summer program for students who will be starting Kindergarten at Shrewsbury Public Schools.
The Summer Enrichment program is for students who are currently enrolled in grades K-7 (entering Grades 1-8 in the fall of 2025). Students must be have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old by 8/31/25 in order to participate.
Enrichment classes for students in grades K-6. Open to all members of the community.
This class is designed to introduce students to the basics of photography. Through fun and interactive activities, students will learn the fundamentals of taking a good photograph, including composition, lighting, and subject selection. They will also have the opportunity to use different types of cameras, such as digital, instant and their iPads, to capture their own images.Throughout the course we will explore different types of photography, such as portrait, landscape, and still life, and how to create unique and artistic images within each genre.In addition to hands-on learning, students will also have the opportunity to edit and enhance their photos using basic editing software. This will allow them to learn the importance of post-processing and how it can improve the overall quality of their images.
