Week-long summer program for students who will be starting Kindergarten at Shrewsbury Public Schools.
The Summer Enrichment program is for students who are currently enrolled in grades K-7 (entering Grades 1-8 in the fall of 2025). Students must be have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old by 8/31/25 in order to participate.
Enrichment classes for students in grades K-6. Open to all members of the community.
We will answer the questions of what is Coding and how it affects the technology that we use in our world today. During this week of Camp, we will use various items to code. We will use the Blockly App and code Dash and Dot robots. We will use coding mice. We will use programs through code.org to figure out various puzzles, these programs include: Minecraft, Dance Party, Flappy Bird, Ice Age, Angry Birds and More. We will also have various movement breaks, games and activities centered around coding. Please make sure the camper brings their charge iPad every day and a snack. Please note, this class is offered more than once and the class content will be identical. Students should only register for one of the classes.
