Pspspspsps! Do you love cats? Are you curious about the history of cats and how they became one of the most popular animals in the world? In this class, we will explore the fascinating world history of our feline friends and their influence they've contributed to countries such as China, Norway, Japan (did you know they have an island devoted to cats only!!), France and early colonial America. We'll look at all the different cat breeds around the world from the largest to the smallest and rarest of them. We'll look into cats in the media and visit the world of feline celebrities such as Hello Kitty, Morris the cat, Garfield and more and learn how to draw a cat and create it's story. We'll examine the mind of a cat to try to understand why they do what they do and even pretend to be a cat doing fun cat-tivities, and play some purrfectly cat-tastic games (can you catch the elusive red dot?). Come and join the fun and adventures of the wonderful world of cats. Oh, and bring your own box. And parents, this will be a catnip free zone.
