In this hands-on summer enrichment class, middle school students will learn and play classic lawn games—including Cornhole (Bean Bag Toss) Kubb, a traditional Scandinavian strategy game and Can Jam (a fun frisbee game). Students will explore game rules, scoring systems, teamwork, and tactics, then apply what they learn through practice matches and friendly competition. The class emphasizes strategy, communication, sportsmanship, and perseverance. Students will work collaboratively, analyze gameplay, reflect on improvements, and build confidence.. The week culminates in a fun, low-stakes tournament that celebrates effort, growth, and teamwork. No prior experience with lawn games or music is required—just a willingness to try, play, and have fun!
