Week-long summer program for students who will be starting Kindergarten at Shrewsbury Public Schools.
The Summer Enrichment program is for students who are currently enrolled in grades K-7 (entering Grades 1-8 in the fall of 2026). Students must be have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old by 8/31/26 in order to participate.
Enrichment classes for students in grades K-6. Open to all members of the community.
Using 5-gallon buckets as drums, we will create music using rhythmic patterns, coordination, and teamwork. Through solo playing and drum circles we will learn different bucket sounds, and play along to music, building confidence and musical skills. Participants learn basic stick techniques, rhythms, and improvisation, fostering creativity, listening, and group collaboration.
