In this active summer enrichment class, middle school students will learn, practice, and compete in three popular lawn games: Cornhole (Bean Bag Toss), Kubb (a Scandinavian strategy game), and CanJam (a fast-paced frisbee target game). Students will explore game rules, scoring systems, throwing techniques, teamwork, and strategy. Throughout the week, students will rotate through games, analyze tactics, practice sportsmanship, and build confidence in a fun, low-pressure environment. The class culminates in a friendly tournament where students apply their skills and strategies while emphasizing teamwork, respect, and fair play. No prior experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to play.
