The Summer Fun Program is great way to prepare your child for the start of kindergarten. Students who will be attending Walter J. Paton School in the fall of 2026 will become familiar with their school building, and experience the routines of a typical day in a kindergarten class.They will leave feeling more confident, and ready for the first day of school!

Cost: $125

Dates: Monday August 3rd – Thursday August 6th
Hours: 9:00AM-11:30AM
Location: Walter J. Paton  School, 58 Grafton Street

Please note:

• Each class is taught by one of the kindergarten teachers at Shrewsbury Public Schools, but it may not be your child’s specific teacher or classroom.
• There is no transportation provided for this program. Parents must provide their own transportation.
• There is no nurse on duty during the program. If your child has a medical condition that requires medication, you will need to coordinate with the program director and school nurse to create an appropriate action plan that meets your child's needs.
