Week-long summer program for students who will be starting Kindergarten at Shrewsbury Public Schools.
The Summer Enrichment program is for students who are currently enrolled in grades K-7 (entering Grades 1-8 in the fall of 2026). Students must be have completed kindergarten and be 6 years old by 8/31/26 in order to participate.
Enrichment classes for students in grades K-6. Open to all members of the community.
Students will step outside to explore the natural world through observation, storytelling, and creative nature journaling. Each week we will take a short “wonder walk” around the school grounds to notice seasonal changes, animal signs, plants, weather, and small discoveries in nature. Children will sketch, write, and share their observations while building curiosity, attention skills, and appreciation for the outdoors. Activities may include nature scavenger hunts, simple journaling prompts, storytelling inspired by our discoveries, and quiet moments of mindful observation. This class encourages creativity, imagination, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
